Congratulations to the Barrie Baycats – our Team of the Month for September 2024!
The Baycats won the 2024 Intercounty Baseball League Championship – the Jack and Lynne Dominico Cup – with a 6-2 win against Guelph, to sweep the Royals in four straight games. They finished the postseason 10-0 and only trailed for two half-innings. Baycats pitcher Frank Garcés was named Playoff MVP.
