Doors Open Barrie is supported by Creative Barrie, the cultural development branch of the Economic & Creative Development Department. This year, Doors Open Barrie is incorporated into Culture Days programming. When paired with Culture Days, it provides a unique opportunity to present free, hands-on arts activities in Doors Open sites, giving residents and visitors a chance to learn about Barrie’s arts, heritage and business community.
Visit Allandale Recreation Centre and join members of the Barrie Sports Hall of Fame and Mariposa School of Skating for a Local Hero Sports Hall of Fame quiz! Children and families will be given a list of questions to answer. The questions will encourage participants to tour the paintings and images in the space to find answers and win a treat!
